Slopeside Dining All Year Round
Four Seasons Resort Jackson Hole takes advantage of its spectacular slope-side location with three restaurants, each providing a different dining experience with the best views in town. The dining scene promises to become popular with guests and the community with its casually elegant ambiance.
Western and Alpine Charm at the Westbank Grill
Named after the area west of the Snake River,
the Westbank Grill places an emphasis on using the freshest ingredients from local vendors, farmers and growers to ensure not only outstanding fresh food but also menus that complement the rich heritage and landscape of the American West.
The central motifs are an open kitchen and a stone, wood-burning fireplace. High-trussed ceilings give the room a lodge feel while the large windows overlook the adjacent ski slope and mountainside. Inside is seating for 96 and another 46 seats are on the outdoor heated terrace, which features a large, stone fireplace. A unique feature is a dining area adjacent to the open kitchen where a large harvest table can accommodate a dinner party of up to 12 for an in-kitchen dining experience. For breakfast, the harvest table serves as a buffet display.
Served from 6:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., breakfast features a buffet and à la carte menu with a selection of traditional fare and some dishes that capture the local flavour both in ingredients, preparation and presentation. A seasonal lunch menu (11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.) offers an à la carte menu featuring elaborate salads, soups, sandwiches and entrées, along with a selection of wines by the glass.
The atmosphere changes for dinner (5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.) with soft lighting, fine stemware and the glow and warmth from the fireplace. The menu is “chop house style” served à la carte and the harvest table becomes a venue for a “family table.” The cuisine reflects the simplicity and ruggedness of the environment. The wine list features an extensive array of high-quality American wines at good value. Al fresco dining on the terrace entices stargazers.
Lively Après Ski Bar at The Peak
At elevation 6,348 ft. (1,935 m),
The Peak is a fitting name for this American-style mountain restaurant and pub located slope side, with ski-in, ski-out access, a stunning mountain view and the bustle of the lifts. Open from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. during the winter and adjusted seasonally, The Peak is anticipated to be a popular lunch spot and après ski bar in Jackson Hole. Its living room environment with cozy nooks and crannies contributes to a convivial atmosphere.
In the evening, The Peak becomes a lively pub with both live and custom-recorded music. Four large TVs, two pool tables and a shuffleboard table are located in a loft over the main room. A large rock fireplace enhances the lodge atmosphere. Inside seating accommodates 12 at the bar and 84 at tables with an additional 38 seats on the outdoor heated terrace with a rockscape gas fireplace.
The bar offers varied selections of bottled and tap beers with many from local breweries, single malt scotches and single batch bourbons. Seasonal menus feature mostly classic American dishes, such as chili, hearty stews and soups, burgers, chicken wings, sandwiches and salads. Rustic bistro-style entrées include braised meats and fowl, and simple fish dishes.
An Intimate, Elegant Setting in the Lobby Lounge
The 42-seat
Lobby Lounge provides a genteel setting to enjoy a quiet cup of tea, cocktails and conversation with family and friends. With its groupings of large sofas and overstuffed chairs, it serves as the “living room” of the Resort. This intimate setting with its expansive views of the mountain and floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace is an ideal meeting place for guests, residents and locals throughout the day and evening. It is open from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. daily in the winter and adjusted seasonally.
During the morning and afternoon hours, the Lobby Lounge serves a variety of hot beverages, including coffee, espresso, tea, cocoa and cider. During the warmer months, cool refreshing iced teas and coffees are offered. Cookies, scones and finger sandwiches accompany afternoon tea.
Evening beverages feature a selection of wines by the glass, vintage ports, classic cocktails and premium scotches, bourbons, brandies and cognacs. A humidor with a selection of fine cigars is available for those who wish to enjoy a good smoke outdoors (smoking is only allowed outdoors). The menu features warm and chilled appetizers of fresh and smoked fish, cheeses and antipasti. A complimentary selection of quality snacks accompanies all cocktail orders. The evening is further enhanced with live piano music.
Poolside and Library Dining Plus 24/7 Room Service
In the summer, poolside beverage service is available during the afternoon. Located adjacent to the Lobby, the Library offers complimentary coffee and muffins for early risers. Room service is offered around the clock for private dining experiences on the guests’ private terrace/balcony or in their spacious guest room. Guests also can order fully equipped picnic baskets to go.
