The Resort is a paradise location for weddings, from a simple blessing on the private, powder-white beach to a civil ceremony amidst the cinnamon trees and frangipani. For the more intimate occasion, couples can marry within Foumba (‘old house’ in Creole) – the atmospheric ruins of a traditional Creole house, open to the stars. The Resort also has its own function room, Aldabra, located within the tropical jungle.
Each wedding at the Resort is treated in a highly personalised way, with on-site wedding specialists on hand to co-ordinate all aspects of their day: from food and beverage to flowers and décor, seating plans to guest transport. The Resort offers a wedding package that includes spa treatments, photographs, wedding cake, candle-lit dinner and sunrise breakfast for two, as well as incorporating all arrangements for the ceremony and reception.
For couples who wish to bring some local flavour to their day, the Resort can arrange for Seychellois musicians to accompany the celebrations with their unique blend of Indian, European, Chinese and African beats, played on an assortment of traditional instruments including the zez, African skin drums, sitar and bom. Personalised menu choices include the option of a traditional Seychellois Creole buffet.
Each of the Resort’s 67 isolated tree-house villas and suites offer couples their own private sanctuary within the tropical canopy. Standard features include large infinity-edge plunge pool, open-air shower, glass-walled bathroom and expansive, private outdoor living space. Sunset views across the Indian Ocean or the Resort’s lush, tropical surrounds create a sense of complete escapism.
Upon arrival at the Resort, wedding and honeymoon couples are welcomed with champagne and fruit; throughout their stay, a host of special Four Seasons touches ensure a magical island experience.
