One Hotel - A Myriad of Cuisines From Around the World
The hub of activity at
Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at Nile Plaza centres around the Hotel’s seven dining venues, each offering specialties from different parts of the world. Under the watchful eye of Executive Chef André Buser, the Hotel prides itself on its range of cuisines designed to appeal to the most discerning of palates.
Mediterranean Medley
The many tantalising flavours of the Mediterranean, from Spain to Lebanon come alive in
Zitouni, the Hotel’s third floor all-day dining restaurant. Colonnades and secluded alcoves create an atmosphere ideal for power breakfasts, buffet business lunches and casual dinners. The finest of Middle Eastern cuisine including Egyptian specialities is prepared and presented authentically, by Egyptian-born Chef Ahmed Darwish. His range of mezzes and grilled dishes are as diverse as they are delicious.
Zitouni which, when translated from Arabic, means ‘Olive,’ is decorated in colours reminiscent of the Mediterranean – bright yellows, greens and terracotta. The restaurant features an open kitchen at one side and panoramic views of the Nile on the other, with exotic fruit displays and food stations interspersed throughout.
If variety be the ‘Spice’ of life…
For those in search of authentic Cantonese specialities, look no further than
Spice, the Hotel’s speciality Chinese restaurant. Spice is all things Cantonese – authentic décor, traditional wall decorations and artefacts, Chinese music and staff dressed in traditional Chinese garb. Three Chinese chefs - including a highly trained Dim Sum specialist - have been brought to Cairo solely for Spice, to ensure the best of their country’s cuisine is prepared and served in the most authentic way, a new experience for Cairo’s diners.
Viva Italia
The flair and creativity of Chef Angelo Zantedeschi who joins Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at Nile Plaza from
Four Seasons Resort Sharm El Sheikh, will be available for all at

Chef Angelo is passionate about his art which he translates into a menu applauding the traditional specialities of his native country, yet offering a contemporary touch. His antipasti buffets of cold and hot items are a highlight as he uses the freshest ingredients, most of which are organically grown. With a vast range of antipasti, soups, 10 different pasta dishes – which change regularly – vegetarian delights and risottos, plus special seasonal promotions, Bella rings to the sounds of Mama Mia. From the Sea…
Walk into
Aqua and it’s like walking into an underwater wonderland. Through the frosted glass doors – engraved with wave effects – diners pass by massive illuminated fish tanks and into a breathtakingly beautiful environment where shades of blue dominate; intricately worked, hand blown Italian glass chandeliers twinkle; and the panoramic view of the Nile seems to merge with the décor.
In this signature restaurant, seafood is naturally the theme. Ensuring the fish are kept in the freshest condition, the kitchens of Aqua have been equipped with huge fish tanks. Aqua’s Catch of the Day will be a favourite with diners, featuring anything from sea bass to lobster. A Sushi Bar is a further attraction for fish lovers.
