The Hualalai Sports Club and Spa also includes an eight court tennis facility, open-air gym, 82-foot lap pool, half basketball court, sand volleyball court and retail shop.

Club Life
The Executive Club Lounge at Four Seasons Hotel Shanghai is set to open this month. Located on the top floor of the hotel, the Lounge will provide member business travelers with an exclusive 24-hour gathering place. Special services include complimentary breakfast, evening cocktails, light refreshments throughout the day and personal concierge services. A private meeting room is also available.

"Suite" Dreams
Exclusivity has new meaning at the new Royal Suite at Four Seasons Hotel New York. The living room is adorned with goat-skinned walls and a mother of pearl chandalier. Seven plasma, flatscreen televisions are displayed throughout. The 2,000 square foot suite is located on the privately accessed 32nd floor of the hotel's upper tower. The Royal Suite is the first of four new one-of-a-kind suites to be introduced to the award winning hotel. The entire project is to be completed in mid-2003 by architects I.M. Pei, who came out of retirement to do this project, and Peter Marino.

Maui Makeover

Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea is in the midst of a $7.5 million makeover of its spa, beachside restaurant and guestrooms. At the heart of the Resort will be a new 21,000 square foot spa, including new locker facilities and 16 new treatment rooms and suites. Also new - a 2,500 square foot healing garden will feature native Hawaiian plants to be incorporated into Spa treatments. Seating will be expanded at Ferraro's at Seaside, the resort's popular beach restaurant. An Italian Piazza will be added serving casual fare from a new kiawi wood-burning pizza oven. A new circular bar will have ocean and sunset views located under the Italian rotunda. Last but not least, guest rooms at the Resort will be redecorated with a new colour scheme, new furniture and new linens for a fresh look.
