The bar and south side of the restaurant offer gorgeous views of the 18th hole, while the rest of the restaurant overlooks the manicured grounds of SpecialtiesThe Hualalai Grille offers the best in Hawai'i Regional Cuisine – a unique blend of Eastern and Western styles using locally grown and raised ingredients, with creative new approaches to familiar dishes. Specialties include some of the dishes made famous by Alan Wong – Soup and Sandwich is a chilled red and yellow tomato soup served with a foie gras, kalua pig and grilled cheese sandwich; while the ginger crusted onaga consists of local red snapper with miso vinaigrette, shiitake and enoki mushrooms and corn. For dessert, savour chocolate crunch bars: layers of milk chocolate, macadamia nut crunch and bittersweet chocolate mousse. The restaurant also features a coffee menu that includes some of Kona's finest estate-grown and roasted coffees.
