The Hualalai Tennis Club offers eight Rebound Ace surface courts, two of which are lighted for evening play. Courtside amenities include complimentary iced water, sports beverages and towels. The Tennis Shop Located inside the Tennis Pavilion, the Tennis Shop offers tennis apparel for men, women and children, as well as tennis footwear, racquets and accessories to bring your game to the next level. Open daily from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Private lessons Get the one-on-one attention that your game needs, with private and semi-private half-hour and one-hour lessons, scheduled at a time that works for you. Instructional clinics Daily clinics are held on the basics of tennis, where you can talk strategy, get back into the game or practice your skills. Each clinic has a specific theme:
Island-style cardio tennis In this Hualalai exclusive, our pro starts the class with stretches and warm-ups, and continues with fast-paced cardio tennis. The Hawaiian beat in the background keeps you moving. Play the pro In this unique Hualalai experience, you can challenge a pro on the court. If you win the set, you play for free. Kālā Pa‘a gold coin clinics for kids One of our most popular programmes for kids, these clinics help young guests learn the basics of tennis while having fun. The pro sets a target on the court; when kids hit it, they collect a coin that can be redeemed for prizes. Young guests are divided into three groups: Manini for guests from four to seven, Honu for guests from eight to 10, and Future Champions for guests from 10 to 17. We recommend booking this popular programme before arriving in Hualalai. Night doubles Join this social mixer, where partners are rotated after each round. Our pros ensure that everyone has a fun and engaging time. These events are a great way to meet other people at the Resort. Ball machine If you need to practice your groundstrokes, you can sign up to use the ball machine and benefit from the repetition it offers. Find a game Our pros can arrange singles, mixed doubles and doubles matches suited to your level of play. Round robin tournaments Call ahead and work with a pro to schedule a round robin tournament designed for your group, taking into account your specific needs to create a memorable experience. Exhibitions Seasonal exhibitions are held to showcase the best of tournament tennis, with pupus (appetisers) and cocktails available following the match. Ask our pros for more information. Hire the pro For an applicable fee, one of our pros will play in your game. Sunday night social mixer round robin These complimentary events are held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Please sign up with the tennis staff. Thursday night doubles These complimentary events are held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Please sign up with the tennis staff. Junior clinics Clinics for our younger guests are offered on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday. Daily clinics may be offered seasonally; please inquire at time of booking. Participants must sign up 24 hours in advance, and proper footwear is required. A per-child fee applies. Clinics are limited to six children each.
