Climbing

Climbing is one of the fastest-growing sports today. It provides fun and excitement for everyone. Come try our specially designed 24-foot-high (7-metre-high) outdoor climbing monolith and challenge your physical and mental prowess! This is a must for every adventure enthusiast. Ages 5 and up.

Hualalai Hikes

Mauka
Explore the slopes of Hualalai, the volcano, on a guided 2-to-4-mile (3.2-to-6.4-kilometre) trek through spectacular upslope terrain. Experience lava tubes formed during the creation of the Big Island, walk the crater rim and enjoy a panoramic view of the beautiful Kohala coast. Ages 8 and up.

Fitness walks

Enjoy the beautiful Hawaiian sunrises on our morning shoreline walks at a pace of approximately 15 minutes per mile (per 1.6 kilometres). Walks leave the lobby of the Sports Club and Spa at 7:00 am.
