Hualalai at Historic Ka'upulehu: Hoku Theatre
Hoku Theatre
A truly unique terraced lava and lawn amphitheatre, the Hoku Theatre is carved from rugged pahoehoe lava and features permanent staging set against a dramatic lava rock wall. Popular for theme gatherings, Hoku regularly hosts events ranging from black tie affairs to casual Hawaiian luaus featuring a traditional `imu, or underground oven.

Adjacent to the Hualalai Ballroom.
Décor
Illuminated by evening stars ("hoku" is Hawaiian for "star") and flickering Hawaiian tiki torches, this venue is recognised for its flexibility. From the colourful florals of a traditional luau to the elegant table settings of a black tie affair, the décor is exquisitely and perfectly tailored to each event.
