Yoga

The Spa at Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong invites you on a journey of mental and physical balance with a comprehensive menu of yoga classes suitable for all experience levels. The classes, held in the oxygenated yoga studio on the fifth floor of the Hotel, are conducted by an international team of fitness and wellness experts whose passion and professionalism provide an enjoyable atmosphere in which to practice yoga.

Reservations are required for scheduled classes. Private sessions for yoga, Pilates and tai chi can also be arranged. Fee applies; please contact the Spa for details.

Unlimited Wellness

The Spa also offers Unlimited Wellness programmes for guests who wish to enjoy healthy activities on a regular basis. One-month and three-month programmes offer exceptional value with unlimited yoga, Pilates and tai chi classes, as well as complimentary access to the Spa's Vitality Lounge before and after your classes. The one-month programme is available for HKD 2,500.00 per person, and the three-month programme for HKD 6,000.00 per person.

Yoga

Ashtanga

Ashtanga is the classical form of power yoga as taught in its traditional sequence. Designed to strengthen, align and purify the entire body, ashtanga combines power and flexibility with movement, bandhas and breath to produce an energetic and detoxifying practice. Ashtanga encourages greater focus, endurance and flexibility at all levels.

60 minutes – HKD 220.00 for Hotel guests; HKD 250.00 for visitors

90 minutes – HKD 250.00 for Hotel guests; HKD 280.00 for visitors

Hatha

Hatha yoga attempts to balance mind and body via physical postures or asanas, purification practices, controlled breathing and the calming of the mind through relaxation and meditation. Asanas teach balance and strength, and help improve the body's physical health and clear the mind in preparation for meditation in the pursuit of enlightenment.

60 minutes – HKD 220.00 for Hotel guests; HKD 250.00 for visitors

Vinyasa power yoga

This form of yoga is characterised by a focus on dynamic connecting postures, creating a flow between the more static traditional yoga postures. The breath dictates the movement and the length of time held in the postures, and attention is also placed on the journey between the postures as well as the postures themselves.

Yin/Yang

Yin/Yang yoga provides the benefits of a balanced practice of both the Yin and Yang styles of yoga. The Yin style of long-held passive poses opens the body to more flexibility and flow of chi through the subtle channels while engendering a more contemplative, non-reactive quality of mind. The more active, dynamic Yang style of yoga follows, strengthening and invigorating the body and mind.

90 minutes – HKD 250.00 for Hotel guests; HKD 280.00 for visitors

All guests taking part in yoga classes are invited to enjoy the heat and water facilities in the Spa's Vitality Lounges. Yoga mats, towels and water are provided. Comfortable attire is recommended. Upon request in advance, the Spa can provide fitness attire.
