Pink Dolphins
The busy waterway outside of your window at Four Seasons Hong Kong holds endless promise for fun, entertainment and food. But it also holds one of the world’s most eye-catching species: pink dolphins. Technically known as the Sousa chinensis, the dolphins are native to Hong Kong and take on a bubblegum pink hue.
Scientists can’t quite explain the phenomenon: some suspect the lack of sharks and other predators allows the dolphins to drop their usual gray or white camouflage. Other people think they’re just blushing. Either way, they never fail to impress Four Seasons guests both young and old.
