ESPA specific body massage

In these massages, skillful techniques are complemented by your choice of essential oils, selected for their specific therapeutic properties.

Together with your therapist, choose from any of the following treatments:

ESPA absolute body envelopment

Not just a body wrap but a life-enhancing experience, this envelopment includes lymphatic skin brushing, full-body exfoliation and a completely enveloping body wrap. The wrap may include algae, to hydrate and detoxify; marine mud, to nourish and condition; or Oshadi clay, to soothe muscles, joints and skin. A mind-calming Asian head massage adds further tranquillity.

Sea salts and essential oils exfoliate the skin and improve tonicity, restoring vitality.

Pre- and post-natal

The treatment starts with a body exfoliation. A blend of nourishing oils is applied and warm marine mud is then used to hydrate your skin. This treatment also includes a specialised back massage to relax aching muscles and tendons.

ESPA hot stone treatments

These two treatments offer a deeper massage. Using volcanic basalt stones placed on specific chakras, they dissolve stress and bring positive energy and balance to the receiver. Both treatments start with a welcoming foot ritual in which you receive a cleansing exfoliation and a pressure point massage. Your therapist will design the treatment around your needs; you will choose the oils that will be combined with the stones.

Holistic back, face and scalp

After the foot ritual, your treatment will start with an exfoliation to the back, followed by a back massage incorporating the hot stones and aromatic oils to rid you of any tension. Your treatment will then conclude with a complete aromatherapy facial to soothe and restore tired, stressed skin. It includes double cleansing, exfoliating and massaging with deeply nourishing facial oils. Then, while an intense facial mask is taking effect, an Asian head massage helps clear the mind, calm the spirit and ease facial tension. You will feel completely balanced and renewed.

Chakra balancing

Chakras are seven subtle energy centres in the body which affect our equilibrium and inner harmony. Chakra balancing begins with a full-body massage with ESPA blended aromatherapy oils using volcanic hot stones. Critical tension points are massaged around the eyes and ears, and then an acupressure head massage is given, to calm and soothe the mind and spirit. You will awaken feeling transformed.
