The Camp experience
Preparing for your Tented Camp experience
To help you make the most of your Tented Camp experience, it is recommended that the following "must bring" items be included in your packing list.
Clothing and footwear
- Outdoor temperature in winter (November to February) may dip in the evening and early morning. It is recommended that guests bring a sweater, shawl or light sports coat.
- Natural fibre tops with shorts, jeans, cotton slacks or sarongs would be appropriate for warm, daytime wear.
- Be it in cool or warm weather, casual and comfortable clothes which are suitable for outdoor activities as well as relaxing around the Camp would be suitable.
- A swimsuit for the pool or heated whirlpool
- Lightweight, water resistant rain gear for sudden showers. Umbrellas are available.
- Being in a natural forest environment, a pair of comfortable non-slip walking shoes that can get wet and dirty would be appropriate, as the grounds may be slippery in early morning and during the wet season.
- Comfortable "camp shoes" or sandals to wear around the Resort. High heels are discouraged due to the terrain.
Other personal items
- A sun hat
- Sun glasses
- Insect repellent
- Prescribed medications
Note: * Due to the Camp's unique terrain, facilities for individuals with disabilities are not available. * Domesticated pets are also not allowed in the natural forest environment. * Admission to Burma is subject to nationality and visa restrictions. Please check with your local Burmese government representative.
