By air
Chiang Rai a 75-minute flight from Bangkok. Chiang Rai International Airport (CEI) is located 8 kilometres (5 miles) from downtown Chiang Rai, about 100 kilometres (62 miles) south of the Tented Camp. The airport is serviced by Thai Airways, Orient Thai Airlines, AirAsia and SGA Airlines. Direct flights are also available to and from China and Laos.

By road from Chiang Mai
The four-hour journey between Chiang Mai and the Tented Camp is one of the most scenic drives in Thailand, passing dozens of hill-tribe villages. Some villages are small and far from the main road, others have paved streets and electricity, but all are unique and well worth the visit. Your Camp Host will be pleased to arrange transportation on request.
