A: Yes, all paper-based Four Seasons gift certificates still in circulation will be honoured.

Q: In what denominations are gift cards sold?

A: The worldwide Four Seasons Gift Cards can be purchased on our web site in six different dollar amounts – US$100, US$250, US$500, US$1,000, US$2,500 and US$5,000. Gift cards can also be purchased from any Four Seasons hotel or resort in any amount desired from US$20 up to US$100,000.

Q: When will my credit card be charged?

A: When you order online, your credit card will be charged after you click “Confirm Order” on the checkout window of your completed order form. When you order in person at a Four Seasons hotel or resort, your credit card will be charged at the time of signature.

Q: How long does it take for a gift card to be delivered?

A: The delivery time will depend on the delivery service you choose. Within the US you have five choices: US Priority service (for delivery in 1-2 business days, 9:00AM-5:00PM delivery time), US Expedited service (for delivery in 2-3 business days, 9:00AM-5:00PM delivery time), US Standard service (for delivery in 5-7 business days, 9:00AM-5:00PM delivery time), Evening (5-7 business days, 5:00PM-8:00PM delivery time) or by Appointment (5-7 business days, shipper will call). Outside the US, all gift cards are delivered via Expedited service (for delivery in 3-4 business days).

Q: How do I purchase more than one card?

A: You can use this web site to purchase up to three gift cards per mailing address. To send cards to more than one mailing address or to order more than three gift cards online, please use additional order forms. You can also visit the Four Seasons hotel or resort closest to you, where our staff will be pleased to help you arrange gift cards in greater numbers or in specific amounts (for example, a gift card to cover a particular spa treatment, including taxes and gratuity).

Q: Can gift cards be ordered by telephone?

A: At this time, gift cards can only be ordered on line at www.fourseasons.com/giftcard or purchased from one of our hotels or resorts.

Q: What can the gift card be used for?

A: The worldwide Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts Gift Card can be used for accommodations, and much more, including spa services, dining or golf, tennis and other leisure activities at any facility managed by Four Seasons. Please note that services or facilities (such as golf courses and spas) at some hotels and resorts are only available to in-house guests. For in-house guests, any charge that can be applied to a hotel folio can be paid for with a gift card. This includes taxes and gratuities. To avoid any possible disappointment, we suggest that the recipient mention or present the gift card at the time of booking.

Q: Does the holder of a gift card have to be a hotel/resort guest to use the card?

A: The recipient can use his/her gift card to pay for meals or services purchased at a Four Seasons hotel or resort, even if they are not currently a guest there. Please note, however, that services or facilities (such as golf courses or spas) may only be available to in-house guests. We suggest that the recipient clarify whether this applies for his/her experience of choice at time of booking.

Q: Does the full value of the gift card have to be redeemed at once?

A: Unlike a paper-based gift certificate the worldwide Four Seasons Gift Card is designed to carry a balance. Therefore, if a guest uses his/her gift card to pay for something of lesser value than is stored on the card, the amount of the purchase will be subtracted and the remaining balance will stay on the card for future use.

Q: Do gift cards have an expiry date?

A: The worldwide Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts Gift Cards do not expire.

Q: Can gift cards be redeemed for cash?

A: The worldwide Four Seasons Gift Cards cannot be redeemed for cash and should be used as payment at a Four Seasons hotel or resort.

Q: How does "balance protection" work?

A: By registering your gift card, you can protect your card balance from the time you report it lost or stolen. As soon as your loss report is made, your balance will be frozen and transferred to a new card, which will be sent to you by mail.

Q: How do I protect my gift card balance?

A: The best way to protect your gift card balance is to register your card as soon as you receive it. You will be asked to enter your email address, create a password and enter the 20-digit number on the back of your card. The process will take less than five minutes. Register your card now.

Q: Can you replace my worldwide Four Seasons Gift Card if it is not registered?

A: You must register your worldwide Four Seasons Gift Card to protect its balance. Register your card now.

Q: What do I do if my gift card is lost or stolen?

A: Simply visit this web site again, select "Using your gift card" from the left hand navigation and then select "Report card loss or theft". You will need to enter your email address and the password you created when you registered your card. Follow a few easy steps and the remaining balance on your gift card will be frozen and transferred to a new gift card. The value stored on the replacement gift card will match the balance of your account at the time you reported your original card missing. The replacement gift card will be sent to you at no cost.

Q: What happens if I find a gift card that I reported lost or stolen?

A: You can discard it. Once the balance has been frozen and transferred to a new gift card, the old card has no value and cannot be accepted for payment at Four Seasons hotels or resorts.
