In an effort to continue their commitment to the environment,
Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia is pleased to offer Natura
® water to guests throughout the Hotel. The leading water-purification system in the United States, the Natura water system removes impurities from the local water source while retaining healthy minerals – thus significantly reducing the Hotel's use of disposable bottles. Still or sparkling water is dispensed into glass bottles designed for wash and reuse, thereby reducing the energy and resources needed to transport, store and dispose of plastic bottles. The Natura water-purification system is the only one of its kind to utilize both high-grade carbon filters and UV technology to eliminate distasteful impurities such as chlorine, metals, sediments and bacteria.

"By offering Natura water to our guests, we are able to reduce the waste sent to landfills while offering our guests great-tasting still and sparkling water from local sources."
Natura water is currently available upon request for corporate functions, business events and meetings set up through the sales and catering departments. It is also offered in the acclaimed

According to the Container Recycling Institute, 86% of plastic water bottles in the United States become garbage or litter, amounting to 30 million bottles per day. In addition, when sent to landfill, plastic bottles can take up to a millennium to biodegrade.
The installation of Natura water continues the eco-friendly practices of Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia. With a strong commitment to recycling and composting, the Hotel has composted 356,803 pounds of kitchen waste since the beginning of 2007, saving 1,894 acres of deforestation. The amount of energy saved by Four Seasons over the past two years is the equivalent of 3.5 million pounds of carbon monoxide, or the removal of 553 automobiles off the road.
