Sample itinerary
Four Seasons can help customise itineraries for your group or party. Your guests will quickly discover that the Hotel is close to everything that matters – and perfectly placed to make the most of this enchanting city. The following is a sample group itinerary. We invite you to discuss your needs with us.
Day 1
Arrival at Hotel Relax after your flight or drive:
- Unwind beside the pool (seasonal)
- Experience a massage or beauty treatment
- Work out in the fitness centre
- Enjoy afternoon tea in the Atrium Bar
Evening Welcome reception at Four Seasons Hotel Firenze Join us and delight in the Hotel’s Renaissance ambience and sample the flavours of Tuscany in Il Palagio restaurant.
Day 2
Morning Enjoy a themed breakfast on one of our private terraces, in one of our gardens, or in Il Palagio. Then choose from the following daytime activities:
- An interactive watercolour painting lesson in the park
- Cooking lessons with our Chef, followed by dinner of dishes prepared during the afternoon class
- A private tour of Florence’s exclusive boutiques on Via Tornabuoni and Via Vigna Nuova, with a personal shopper
- Bargain hunting at designer clothes outlets such as Prada, Gucci and Dolce & Gabbana, with a private chauffeur
Evening Dine in Tuscan splendour Enjoy dinner at one of Florence’s legendary restaurants.
Day 3
Morning Breakfast at leisure. Then choose from the following daytime activities:
- A day of golf in the Tuscan countryside
- Sporting activities, horseback riding or mountain biking in the countryside or a game of tennis in the city
- Visiting the Leather School and taking an introductory course in cutting, assembling and finishing a book cover or a handbag
- Discovering Pisa and its famous Leaning Tower
Evening A star-filled soirée Enjoy a guided tour of the Osservatorio Astrofisico di Arcetri, one of Italy’s most important astronomical observatories and research centres. Then, dine under the stars.
Day 4
Morning Breakfast at leisure. Then choose from the following daytime activities:
- A day-long tour through the Chianti district, visiting olive groves, vineyards, villas and castles; enjoy lunch at a typical Tuscan farmhouse and an afternoon winery tour and tasting
- Visiting San Gimignano, one of Italy’s best-preserved medieval towns
- Exploring Siena and its famous sights, from the Piazza del Campo to the cathedral with its spectacular collection of art
Evening Gala Dinner – Farewell to Florence
In the magnificent Della Gherardesca Ballroom, dine on imaginatively prepared contemporary Italian cuisine, with award-winning regional wines to complement each course, accompanied by memorable entertainment.
Day 4
Morning Breakfast at leisure in your room or in Il Palagio.
