Catherine Forrest, the official Four Seasons Hotel Dublin florist, is a passionate floral designer who’s eye-catching and dramatic floral designs have quickly become a stand out signature attraction at the Hotel.
Her structured, lush, contemporary floral designs for the hotel provide a bold backdrop of dramatic highlights against the Hotel’s elegant interiors.
An advocate of bold, hot, block colours – reds and oranges contrasted with deep purples – and statement flowers. Catherine describes her simple, modern style as ‘fantastic opulent’. Catherine cites Italian fashion designer Alberta Ferretti’s tailored subtle layered designs as well as the abstract expressionist artist Mark Rothko’s use of rich fields of colours as her creative influences.
Catherine also runs The Flower Room at the Hotel where fresh hand-tied bouquets as well as speciality plants can be made to order in the shop or from the concierge if you’re in a rush.
