Located at the tip of Sinai, Sharm El Sheikh is one of the world’s most accessible and vibrant resort destinations for snorkelling and scuba diving. It is home to abundant marine life, much of it unique to the Red Sea waters. The Resort’s two jetties allow divers and swimmers easy access to the clear waters and coral gardens of the nearby reef, which boasts an extensive variety of fauna, ranging from soft and hard coral to starfish, sea urchins, parrotfish, lionfish, mantas and moray eels.

Located just a few metres from the sea on the Resort’s main beach, Sinai Blues Dive Centre is exclusive to Four Seasons guests and is licensed by the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI). Rental equipment and lessons are available, and all diving excursions are guided by multilingual certified divers.

Under the expert guidance of the Sinai Blues team, both adults and children are offered the chance to explore and admire the breathtaking beauty of the Red Sea world. Sinai Blues is conveniently located on the beach, offering guests direct access to all the diving opportunities available here in Sharm El Sheikh, whether they are amateur or professional divers.

The Resort can also arrange excursions to some of the most exciting dive sites in the world, ranging from the uninhabited island of Tiran and the exquisite coral reefs and rare marine life of Ras Mohamed National Park to shipwreck sites such as Thistlegorm and Dunraven.

For younger guests interested in discovering all the wonders of the Red Sea, Sinai Blues offers an introduction to the basics of scuba diving. Children over the age of eight can build on this introduction by attending the PADI Bubblemaker programme, which consolidates their new skills and familiarises them with real scuba equipment. For adults keen on learning new skills and broadening their understanding of this aquatic paradise, PADI’s advanced open water diving course is recommended, as well as its emergency first response course.

Snorkelling

Full- or half-day snorkelling excursions are also available. A number of good snorkelling spots may be found along the coast. Access to some is complimentary, while others charge a nominal entrance fee. The Resort can make arrangements and provide transportation.

Sinai Blues provides snorkelling for all levels and requirements. The private jetty offers access to the nearby reef for a relaxing swim, while luxury boats are available for full- or half-day trips to explore distant offshore reefs. All snorkelling excursions are guided by Sinai Blues instructors, who provide information and ensure safety.

Yachts

Sinai Blues offers two large yachts, the 22-metre (72-foot) M.Y. Virginia and the 17-metre (56-foot) M.Y. Sanafir Waver. Simply lie back and relish the scenery, or celebrate special occasions such as group lunches, birthday parties, cocktails, sunset cruises or romantic dinners.

Scuba diving

The Resort can arrange diving excursions with approved local dive operators on a half- or full-day basis. Rental equipment and lessons are available. Some excursions are guided and visit multiple dive sites; night dives can also be arranged.

Beach activities

A 100-metre (328-foot) stretch of smooth white sand, the Resort’s beach is exclusively for guests of Four Seasons. The azure waters range in temperature from 20 to 29ºC (68 to 84ºF), and chilled towels, ice water and facial spritzes are offered on an hourly basis. Beach towels and chaises longues are available for complimentary use.
