Fort Worth, while a cosmopolitan city, still retains many of the cowboy charms (and actual cowboys) that gives Texas its steel-toed swagger. Situated right in between the two, geographically as well as in spirit, is Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas. As much a country club and sports complex as resort, we cater to locals as well as out-of-town guests whose interests and activities are often centred around major conferences, hotel events, weddings and professional sports, both as participant and spectator.
With the constant event preparation and turnover, the Resort staff, many of whom have been with the property for 30 years, are the most experienced and consummate event and wedding professionals in the Southwest. And receiving the prestigious AAA Five Diamond award, the only resort hotel to do so in Texas, only reinforces our long-standing commitment to top-notch service and hospitality.
Every Spring TPC Four Seasons Las Colinas hosts the HP Byron Nelson Championship – the largest PGA tournament in Texas. We act as host site for the tour’s players, VIP sponsors, leisure guests on packages, local visiting clients, media and all sorts of VIPs. And with 50,000 people a day using the Resort and its facilities during the four-day event, our team is put to the test, and thrives.
We love to throw parties, and our July 4th weekend is always a sold-out affair. We always hold an annual Independence Day Celebration for our Resort guests and private club members that includes an awesome fireworks show held right on the 18th fairway of our golf course. It’s like a giant Texas lawn party with games, live music and activities for kids, as well as a barbeque and fish fry.
When it comes to weddings, from the smallest invitation detail to flowers and menu creations, we pride ourselves on our knowledge service and custom details. No request is too big and no detail is too small. For a recent Indian wedding, we helped the groom locate a horse to ride into the Ballroom for his arrival. And at one of our largest weddings, the couple hosted 1,000 guests and had the pleasure of mingling with live penguins.
