Six-day Itinerary
Four Seasons is pleased to help customize an itinerary for your group or party. Savour scenic natural surroundings, explore local culture with visits to historic sites, villages and markets, or take part in a host of activities on land or sea. To provide a taste of the experience, we have created these sample itineraries. We invite you to contact us to discuss your needs.
Day 1
Arrival
Guests are greeted at the airport by Four Seasons staff. At the Resort, a 40-minute drive from the airport, you will be welcomed with a tropical beverage. Luggage service is also offered.
Day
Unwind at the Resort's pool or choose from one of the following activities:
- Enjoy a relaxing massage or rejuvenating body treatment at the Spa
- Work out at the Fitness Centre
Evening
Join us at a welcome reception that showcases the Resort's authentic Costa Rican flavour and sweeping Pacific Ocean views from the Event Lawn's hilltop vantage point.
Turndown amenity: A basket of fine Costa Rican coffees.
Day 2
Breakfast
Enjoy an orientation breakfast in one of a choice of stunning venues – poolside, on the terrace or in the gardens.
Day
Choose from the following activities:
- Relax on the pool deck
- Play tennis
- Go snorkelling
- Enjoy a therapeutic treatment at the full-service Spa
Evening
An evening under the stars: Enjoy sunset views and Four Seasons culinary expertise at a barbecue on the beach beside Blanca Bay.
Turndown amenity: Four Seasons clothing.
Day 3
Breakfast
Enjoy a catered breakfast in either Papagayo or Di Mare restaurants.
Morning
Choose from the following activities:
- Take a cooking class, which includes tips on Latino cuisine from the chef
- Participate in a golf tournament suitable for all levels of players
Afternoon
Choose from the following group activities:
- A canopy tour in the Guanacaste forest
- A visit to the charming town of Tamarindo, where you'll find a market, art gallery and craft and pottery stores
- Horseback riding in Los Inocentes Reserve
Evening
Enjoy sweeping vistas from the Golf Club, along with an open domestic bar and Taste of Central America buffet, which includes locally raised beef, spit-roasted chicken and freshly caught seafood.
Day 4
Breakfast
Enjoy a catered breakfast in Papagayo or Di Mare restaurants.
Day
Spend a full day exploring Costa Rica's wild side:
- Explore Guanacaste National Park
- Float down the Corobici River
- Take a canopy tour in Rincon de la Vieja National Park
Evening
Dine at leisure in one of our four restaurants: Di Mare (Italian specialties), Papagayo (Continental and local cuisine), Congo's (a poolside bar and grill) or Caracol (steakhouse).
Turndown amenity: Beach towels or hand-carved wood memento.
Day 5
Breakfast
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast in your room or at Papagayo restaurant.
Day
Choose from the following activities:
- Bird watching in Palo Verde National Park
- Beach activities at Four Seasons – wave runners, kayaking, hobie cats, volleyball or snorkelling
Evening
An evening of elegance: Spend a memorable night under the stars on the Event Lawn, dining on sublime Italian cuisine imaginatively catered with Four Seasons flair.
Turndown amenity: Hand-painted pottery.
