Tuanis Teen Center

Tuanis – a Costa Rican expression meaning "too nice" or "too cool" – is our fully equipped entertainment facility created specifically for our teenage guests. Located just steps from the basketball court, Tuanis houses a flat-screen TV, a DVD player, a PlayStation 3, an Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, computers with complimentary Internet and iPod docking stations. Furnished with comfortable lounge areas, decorative surfboards and bright Costa Rican colours, it is the perfect place to relax, play pool and socialise with new friends.

The Center is staffed with a teen-oriented Concierge, who provides information on weekly activities and tours. Outdoor adventure excursions and Resort activities include zip-lining through lush treetops, white-water rafting, jungle adventures, snorkelling explorations, sunset kayaking and volcano hikes. Weekly fitness classes include mat Pilates, kickboxing and yoga and stretching. Teens can also get manicures and pedicures at the Spa or attend golf or tennis lessons or Spanish, cooking, Latin dance or Bubblemaker scuba classes.
