|2004||The Resort opens.
|The Arnold Palmer-designed golf course opens, and Mr. Palmer plays the course.|
|Peter Burwash International (PBI) and Four Seasons Resort Costa Rica partner together to create a world-class tennis program.
|The Club House opens, with four Har-Tru tennis courts.|
|2005||Caracol, our casual steakhouse, opens.|
|2006||The Trail of Giants launches, which to date has provided over 17,000 guests with guided tours of the tropical dry forest surrounding the golf course.|
|2007||The golf course at Four Seasons Resort Costa Rica is named one of the Top 100 courses outside of the United States by Golf Digest.|
|The golf course at Four Seasons Resort Costa Rica is certified as an Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary, which recognizes sites that further the profile and heritage of golf while honouring and maintaining the natural environment in which they are situated.|
|2008||The Resort begins to support Creciendo Juntos, or “Growing Together,” the Peninsula Papagayo social responsibility program. |The Putt Putt and Short courses open.|
|2012||CR Burger Shack opens.|
|The Chef’s Table in DiMare opens.
|Four Seasons Resort Costa Rica appears on the front cover of PBI Magazine, issued worldwide.|
|2013||Caracol's Chef's Table – in the heart of the Resort’s organic garden – opens.|
|Tropicsurf, which takes advantage of the region's 200+ days of ideal surfing conditions with lessons and programs for all ability levels, launches.|
|First Annual Stand Up Paddle Race in Peninsula Papagayo, sponsored by the Resort.|
