Seasonal highlights

Winter

The holiday spirit is alive in Washington, DC and our Hotel. Enjoy the Pageant of Peace, which stages nightly events at the National Christmas Tree. Throughout December, the lobby of the Hotel becomes the festive backdrop for 15 beautifully decorated trees on behalf of Georgetown University Hospital Pediatric/Oncology Center. Throughout Georgetown, merchants will also feature their own holiday trees for the same fundraiser. The decorations of each merchant's tree will be available through silent auction, with proceeds benefiting the hospital.

Spring

Springtime brings the glorious cherry blossoms, a favourite of downtown visitors and Washingtonians alike. Another popular event is the annual  White House Easter Egg Roll.

Summer

Enjoy dozens of outdoor concerts, the Smithsonian Folk Life Festival and one of the largest Fourth of July celebrations in the country.

Fall

Washington offers spectacular autumn colours and magnificent twilight boat tours on the Potomac River.

Across 1,754 acres of parkland find naturalistic gardens, the National Zoo, seven forts, one of the oldest homes in the nation’s capital and the only Planetarium in the National Park System.
