Inspired by the nearby mountains, lofty 12-metre (40-foot) ceilings reach to the Vancouver sky, while warmth and casual comfort emanates from rich wood panelling and a floor-to-ceiling sandstone fireplace. Dining with a crowd? YEW’s communal table, hewn from a slab of native maple from Vancouver Island, is a convivial setting for up to 14. And found in the middle of YEW restaurant is a skylit dining area for 10, encased in glass, and lined with rows and rows of fine wine.
