Unforgettable Picnics

Allow our team to prepare a gourmet Four Seasons picnic for your group, featuring fresh local produce and home-made goodies by our talented chefs. With your picnic packed and ready, we can help you find the best picnic spots in Sydney, which are sure to woo and wow. Our favourite spots include:

Secret beaches – Sydney is home to almost 40 beautiful beaches, and some are tucked away where only locals know where to find them. Many are just a ferry ride or short drive from the hotel, and they each offer a unique setting with a view.

Observatory Hill Park – a stroll from the hotel, this is park with a million dollar view, with sweeping, panoramic views of Sydney Harbour and the Harbour Bridge. Covered in lush green grass, it’s the perfect picnic spot.

Harbour islands – Board a ferry or private boat and cruise out to one of Sydney’s islands, dotted across the harbour. Each one has a different personality and view. Fort Denison for instance is a historical landmark combining stunning harbour views with colonial history, while Shark Island – named after its shape – features sandy beaches, rocky foreshores and picnic spots under leafy green trees.

Royal Botanic Gardens – Explore Sydney’s renowned harbourfront Botanic Gardens – the perfect tranquil escape for picnics and garden soirees. Pick a spot in the herb garden, picnic among the flower beds, or find a place overlooking panoramic views of Sydney Harbour.
