Spot Sea Turtles
People tend to come out of their shells during visits to the Caribbean island of Nevis, a prime spot for nesting sea turtles. Nature-loving couples won’t want to miss the chance to take a moonlit walk on – where else? – Lover’s Beach. Your walk will be led by the Nevis Turtle Group, a local conservation organization. As you stroll the pristine sands, flashlight in hand, you might be asked to help count eggs, measure turtles or, if you’re really lucky, watch fresh hatchlings make their way into the world.
