Vacation in a Historic Location
Known to the Arabs as early as the 10th century, Mauritius was “discovered” in 1505 by navigator Pedro Mascarenhas. The old sugar mills and plantation houses on the island today are vestiges from colonial rule by the Dutch, French and British.
