A Sweet Way to Spend the Day
You know it for its delicious properties, but where does sugar cane come from and how is it grown? The Sugar Adventure is an interactive exhibition in the heart of an old mill. Afterwards, sample special unrefined sugars and local rum.
Vacation in a Historic Location
Known to the Arabs as early as the 10th century, Mauritius was “discovered” in 1505 by navigator Pedro Mascarenhas. The old sugar mills and plantation houses on the island today are vestiges from colonial rule by the Dutch, French and British.
