The island of Landaa Giraavaru, 120 kilometres (75 miles) from Malé International Airport, is accessible by seaplane.
The scenic flights are available during daytime hours only. For arrivals after 4:00 pm, overnight accommodations can be arranged at Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa or a nearby resort. A minimum of 72 hours' notice is necessary to arrange seaplane transfers; please contact the Resort for details.
Four Seasons representatives will strive to minimise waiting time at the airport for same-day transfers, and will escort guests to the seaplane terminal for their flight. The flight takes approximately 30 to 45 minutes, depending on weather conditions and schedules; one short stop may be necessary. Transfer fees are subject to change without notice.
Please note that we are unable to confirm the timing of your return transfer until the evening prior to your departure.

Transportation
Malé International Airport is served by a number of international and charter airlines, including Aeroflot, Air India, Bangkok Airways, British Airways, Emirates Air, Malaysian Airlines, Meridiana Fly, Singapore Airlines, Sri Lankan Airlines, Transaero Airlines and Qatar Airways.
All visitors to the Maldives must possess a valid passport and return air ticket. A complimentary 30-day tourist visa will be issued upon arrival. If guests are arriving from Yellow Fever infected areas, they must produce a vaccination certificate. Guests may not bring alcohol, pork products, pornography or weapons into the Maldives. To Kuda Huraa
Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa is a 25-minute speedboat transfer from Malé International Airport. Guests are greeted by Four Seasons representatives and escorted to a waiting speedboat. Speedboat transfer fees apply at the rate of USD 190 for adults and USD 95 for children aged five and above.
To Landaa Giraavaru
Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Landaa Giraavaru is a 30- to 45-minute seaplane flight from Malé International Airport. Guests are greeted by Four Seasons representatives and escorted to the seaplane check-in. Maximum waiting time in Four Seasons private lounge rarely exceeds two hours from time of check-in. Flight times are subject to weather conditions and schedules and may involve one short stop en route. Seaplane transfer fees apply at the rate of USD 490 for adults and USD 245 for children aged two and above.
Please note: Seaplanes are operated by Maldivian Air Taxi (MAT) and only fly during daylight hours. Guests bound for Landaa Giraavaru who arrive into Malé International Airport after 4:00 pm may opt to 'Rest and Transfer' (see below) at Kuda Huraa before flying direct to Landaa Giraavaru the following day. Fees apply.
Rest and Transfer Package
Guests departing Landaa Giraavaru on international evening or night departures from Malé International Airport may opt to 'Dine and Transfer' via Kuda Huraa to avoid a long wait at the airport. The package includes:
- Access to the Resort's facilities, including the swimming pool, poolside changing rooms and showers, and library.
- Dinner at one of the Resort's three premier restaurants (beverages are excluded).
- One-way speedboat transfer to the airport.
To Four Seasons Explorer
Guests can cruise between Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa and Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Landaa Giraavaru aboard our luxury catamaran Four Seasons Explorer Cruises, which depart from Kuda Huraa on Mondays and Landaa Giraavaru on Thursdays. Transfer fees are included in cruise rates.
Between Kuda Huraa and Landaa Giraavaru
Guests can fly seamlessly between our two Resorts’ seaplane platforms or cruise aboard our luxury catamaran, Four Seasons Explorer. Guests booking the Paradise Twice package (a minimum of three nights stay at each Resort) will receive complimentary
seaplane transfers between the two Resorts.
