Transportation
Malé International Airport is served by a number of international and charter airlines, including Aeroflot, Air India, Bangkok Airways, British Airways, Emirates Air, Malaysian Airlines, Meridiana Fly, Singapore Airlines, Sri Lankan Airlines, Transaero Airlines and Qatar Airways.
All visitors to the Maldives must possess a valid passport and return air ticket. A complimentary 30-day tourist visa will be issued upon arrival. If guests are arriving from Yellow Fever infected areas, they must produce a vaccination certificate. Guests may not bring alcohol, pork products, pornography or weapons into the Maldives. These items will be confiscated at the airport and disposed of by the airport authorities.

Instructions
The Resort is a 25-minute speedboat ride from Malé International Airport on the island of Hulhule. Guests are greeted by Four Seasons representatives and escorted to a waiting speedboat, which is the only way to arrive at the Resort. Fee applies for speedboat transfers between Malé International Airport and the Resort for all guests aged five and above.
Resort Transfers
To Kuda Huraa
Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa is a 25-minute speedboat transfer from Malé International Airport. Guests will be greeted by Four Seasons representatives and escorted to a waiting speedboat. Transfer fees apply for guests aged five and over.
To Landaa Giraavaru
Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Landaa Giraavaru is a 30- to 45-minute seaplane flight from Malé International Airport. Guests will be greeted by Four Seasons representatives and escorted to the seaplane check-in. Maximum waiting time in the private Four Seasons lounge rarely exceeds two hours from time of check-in. Flight times are subject to weather conditions and schedules and flights may include one short stop en route. Transfer fees apply for guests aged two and over.
Seaplanes are operated by Maldivian Air Taxi (MAT) and fly only during daylight hours. Guests bound for Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Landaa Giraavaru who arrive at Malé International Airport after 4:00 pm may wish to take advantage of the Rest and Transfer package at Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa before flying direct to Landaa Giraavaru the following day.
Between Kuda Huraa and Landaa Giraavaru
Guests can fly seamlessly between our two Resorts' seaplane platforms or cruise aboard our luxury catamaran, Four Seasons Explorer. Cruises depart from Kuda Huraa on Mondays and from Landaa Giraavaru on Thursdays. Guests booking the Paradise Twice package (a minimum of three nights at each Resort) will receive complimentary seaplane transfers between the two Resorts.
Please note: A minimum of 72 hours' notice is required to arrange seaplane transfers. Transfer fees are subject to change without notice.
Dinner and airport transfer package
For guests departing Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Landaa Giraavaru for a night-time international flight from Malé International Airport, Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa offers an alternative to waiting long hours at the airport. This package includes:
- Access to the Resort’s facilities, including the swimming pool, showers at the poolside changing room and use of the library
- Dinner at one of the Resort’s three premier restaurants (excluding beverages)
- One-way speedboat transfer to the airport
