Four Seasons Resort Langkawi can help customize itineraries for your group or party. An archipelago of 99 islands in the Andaman Sea, Langkawi offers eco discovery on land or at sea, amidst its lush rainforests and immaculate beaches. The following is a sample itinerary. Day 1
Arrival at Resort
After a traditional welcome with bunga manggar (floral displays) and kompang (Malay hand drums), relax and refresh:
- Lunch in your private pavilion
- Unwind by the pool
- Indulge in an ayurvedic-inspired body treatment in the Spa
- Work out in the Fitness Centre
- Enjoy the sunset with cocktails in the Rhu Bar
- A Malaysian-themed dinner in Ikan Ikan, complete with hidangan agung culinary delicacies
- Unwind by the pool
Day 2
Morning
Start the day with a hearty breakfast in Serai restaurant, including spicy local breakfast specialty nasi lemak
- Explore the mangroves of Kilim Geoforest Park spotting eagles, monkeys and bats
Afternoon
- Picnic lunch on a private beach
- Visit Perdana Quay Marina
- Go-kart at Morac Circuit, play golf at Gunung Raya or 99 East Golf, or take a tennis clinic
Evening
- Travel by cable car to the summit of Gunung Mat Cincang for an aerial view of Langkawi at sunset
- Or, take a sunset drive to the summit of Gunung Raya to watch the regal hornbills
- Or, capture the local flavours of Langkawi at the Pasar Malam, a bustling night market
- Dine in the privacy of your pavilion or at your leisure in Serai, or enjoy sunset cocktails and dinner aboard a luxury yacht
Day 3
Morning
Breakfast at your leisure. Afterwards, experience the Resort's facilities or venture further afield
- Tour island sights including paddy fields, remote villages and Durian Perangin Falls
- Picnic on a private beach
Afternoon
- Lunch at Royal Langkawi Yacht Club or Restaurant Fatimah, a local restaurant that serves over 30 Malay dishes with local fish grill as their specialty
- Cross the Sky Bridge, 700 m (2300 ft.) above sea level or take on a sunset drive up Gunung Raya to watch the regal hornbills
- Spend the afternoon snorkeling, kayaking, windsurfing or fishing
- Experience a relaxing spa treatment in the Resort's full-service spa
- Search for exotic Malaysian handicrafts in Langkawi Fair Mall, Kuah Town or Kompleks Kraft Budaya
Evening
- Visit a bustling night market
- A barbecue on the beach or dine under a royal Rajasthani tent by the water's edge.
Day 4
Morning
Savour a local breakfast specialty, nasi lemak, for a spicy start to a day of action and adventure
- Breakfast in Serai
- Explore the mangrove wetlands at Kilim Nature Park. Visit the bat caves and a floating fish farm, or try to spot an eagle
- Visit Pulau Payar Marine Park for a serene dive
Afternoon
- Enjoy a picnic lunch
- Discover the ‘Secrets of the Sea’ on an awe-inspiring tour by boat, foot and kayak
- Shop for crafts in the Resort boutiques or visit Kuah Town or the Craft Complex
Evening
Relax with dinner at Bon Ton, a restaurant set amid paddy fields and antique Malay houses. Afterwards, tour Pantai Cenang and Pantai Tengah to enjoy the night lights of Langkawi
Day 5
Morning
Breakfast at your leisure before the day's activities
- Learn Asian cooking from a Four Seasons chef
- Discover indigenous tropical flora with the Resort's resident naturalist on a Jalan-Jalan (walkabout) in the Resort's gardens
Afternoon
- Attend farewell lunch in Kafe Kepala
