Trail of Giants
This guided tour through the tropical dry forest surrounding the golf course is certified by the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary. The forest is home to endangered birds, monkeys, iguanas, butterflies – and over 25 species of giant tree. Learn about the exotic flora and fauna of Costa Rica while enjoying the lush forests and awe-inspiring panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean.

Hiking
Providing a convenient opportunity to witness nature in the Costa Rican forest, the Resort offers its own hiking trail. The route extends approximately 1 kilometres (0.6 miles) from the beach on one side of the Peninsula up the hillside and down to the beach on the other side. The stairs and pathways are well-maintained and prove an exerting challenge for hikers.

Birders of any level are invited to spot parrots, manakins, antbirds and trogons, located all around the Resort.

Meet a local fisher on Playa Blanca and choose your dinner right off the boat. Our chef will be on hand to help.
