From Ezeiza International Airport in Buenos Aires, it is a two-hour car and ferry ride or a 20-minute flight via small plane to Four Seasons Resort Carmelo.

Montevideo airport in Uruguay is 285 kilometres (177 miles) from Four Seasons Resort Carmelo, approximately a four-hour drive. The airport is served by: Aerolineas Argentinas, American Airlines, Lloyd Aero Boliviano, United Airlines, and VARIG.

 

Services provided by the Hotel:

Instructions

Guest meet-and-greet service may be organized with the Resort. Guests would be met at Ezeiza International Airport and assisted with transfers to the Resort, either by plane or by boat/ferry service.

By boat

It is a one-hour drive from Ezeiza International Airport to Puerto Madero in downtown Buenos Aires. From here guests will take a one-hour ferry ride to Colonia, Uruguay on the Rio de la Plata. Once in Colonia guests are transported to the Resort by shuttle van, approximately a one-hour drive.

By plane

There are several options by plane. There are direct charter flights from Ezeiza International Airport to Carmelo Airport, it is a short 25-minute flight. You may also transfer by car from Ezeiza International Airport to Aeroparque Jorge Newbery, the domestic airport in Buenos Aires. The drive is one hour and 15 minutes. From Aeroparque Jorge Newbery it is a 20-minute flight to Carmelo Airport.

Instructions

  • From Montevideo take Route 1 to Colonia, 180 kilometres (112 miles)
  • Turn right onto Route 21 and continue until you reach "El Pelado" bridge
  • In the roundabout turn left and continue on Route 21 to the town of Carmelo, 60 kilometres (37 miles)
  • After crossing Carmelo, turn left to continue on Route 21, in approximately 7 kilometres (4.3 miles) you will find the entrance to the Resort
