Bertine Hage has been the Chef Concierge at Four Seasons Hotel Vancouver for nearly 30 years. A young émigré from the Netherlands, she joined the Four Seasons family in 1984. Her ascent to Chef Concierge seems shockingly fast — two years! — until you meet her. Possessed by a ‘we’re going to make this happen’ attitude that works like a reliable compass, she’ll tell you, “it’s always pointing on one direction, towards a successful outcome.”

September 2012 On-Board Concierge
Dawn Pender is the Concierge Manager at Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire. Born in London, she went from college straight to work at a five-star London hotel, where she eventually trained as a concierge. She became a member of Les Clefs d’Or, the prestigious concierge organisation, in 2003. With over 20 years of experience in five-star hotels, Dawn has been with Four Seasons for eight years, working in Dublin, Costa Rica and Hampshire.

Javier Loureiro is the Chef Concierge at Four Seasons Hotel Washington, DC. Born in Madrid, he was educated in the DC area and joined Four Seasons fresh out of business school in 1982. He has been working at the Washington property for over 30 years – becoming a member of Les Clefs d’Or, the elite concierge organisation, in 1986 and Chef Concierge in 1992. A Four Seasons Global Ambassador and an avid history buff, Javier loves to travel and explore new cultures, sights and sounds.
