Chief Concierge Jon Winke has fielded some pretty unique requests during his career at The Ritz-Carlton Chicago (A Four Seasons Hotel). When one NBA team needed a place to practice, Winke even transformed the Hotel's ballroom into a basketball court overnight. “If people give me an impossible request, it might take a few minutes. When they need a miracle, it might take a little longer,” Winke chuckles. But he’s just as adept with the details, like scoring last-minute theatre tickets to a sold-out show. The Windy City native began his career at the Hotel in 1975 as a bellman fresh out of college. He soon transferred to the concierge desk and worked his way up the ranks, exemplifying our service ethos with a gracious charm and winning personality.
