Doi Intanon National Park

At 2,565 metres (8,416 feet), Doi Intanon is Thailand's highest peak, with a large area of the mountain preserved as a national park. Points of interest include four impressive waterfalls, many terraced rice fields, picturesque valleys and small hill tribe villages.

Doi Suthep Temple

You have not really seen Chiang Mai until you have visited Doi Suthep Temple, glittering 390 metres (1,280 feet) above Chiang Mai city. There are over 300 steps to climb to the summit (cable tram available), where the temple sits atop the Doi Suthep Mountains, but once you're there, the surroundings will make you feel like you are on top of the world.

Phuping Palace

Wat Umong
