Arrival information
Upon arrival, kids are presented with a personalised registration card and are greeted with a personalised welcome amenity in their room.
Day 1 – Relaxing after your flight
Discover what Canary Wharf has in store for families, from parks to museums to walks along the river.
Day
- Enjoy your first taste of London with a light breakfast at Bar Quadrato overlooking our estate gardens.
- Spend the afternoon exploring Greenwich Park and The Royal Observatory.
- Once everyone’s worked up an appetite, stop by Bar du Musée in Greenwich for lunch.
Evening
- Enjoy a stroll along the Thames path, located just outside the Hotel.
- Your walk will lead you past a variety of bistros and restaurants overlooking the river.
- Stop in for dinner at one of Canary Wharf’s family restaurants, such as Jamie’s Italian or Wahaca.
Day 2 – Park and Zoo
Today you’ll explore the city, from the London Zoo and Madame Tussaud’s to our Concierge’s recommended restaurants and shops.
Day
- Get ready for an action-packed day with our Healthy Breakfast option at Quadrato Restaurant.
- Take the kids for a swim at the Fitness Centre, where you can splash around in the infinity-edge pool with views of the river Thames.
- Towel off, get dressed, and head out to London’s most popular zoo, located in Regent’s Park.
- Right beside the park, visit Madame Tussaud’s famous wax museum.
Evening
- Cap off your day at the zoo by staying in tonight and watching Madagascar, available from our complimentary DVD library.
- Make it dinner and a movie by ordering from our extensive In-Room Dining menu and enjoy your meal in the comfort of your room.
- While you’re ordering dinner, pre-order your movie amenity to enjoy while you watch the movie.
Day 3 - Historic London
Today you’ll learn about London’s history and character by visiting Westminster and the Tower of London.
Day
- Head out to Fortnum and Mason or The Wolseley for a true English breakfast, complete with kippers and black pudding.
- After breakfast, walk to Buckingham Palace and watch the Changing of the Guard.
- Take a short taxi ride to the Tower of London, where you’ll visit Her Majesty’s Royal Palace and Fortress.
- Join a family trail and have a guide show you the crown jewels and the King’s royal armour rooms.
- From the Thames path just outside the Tower, enjoy the great views of Tower Bridge and story-telling from the Beefeaters.
Evening
- Cross over Tower Bridge into Butler’s Wharf and sit down for dinner at Le Pont de la Tour and Cantina del Ponte, both excellent choices for families.
- Enjoy amazing views of the Tower of London and choose from an excellent selection of dishes that is sure to suit every taste.
- Return to the Hotel by river taxi – the pier is right next door!
