General information
One of the great cities of Central Europe, Budapest is poised culturally and geographically between East and West. Part of some of history’s grandest empires, the city reflects both the exotic beauty of its past and the fast-forward pulse of today – an unmistakably contemporary centre of business and culture. Spanning the storied River Danube, it is an enchanting destination with monumental architecture, ancient spas, cobblestone streets and bustling promenades.
