The one-of-a-kind Ambassador Suite overlooks the Public Garden. It features a modern New England design using a simple, neutral palette with accent colours in cool blues and citron green. The furniture and fixtures blend today’s style and old-world classics to create the feel of a contemporary Boston town home. Textured velvet chairs, silk throw pillows and Ultrasuede fabrics add personality. The rooms are well equipped for business or leisure travel and entertaining.

• The living room has contemporary gold-tone carpeting with a subtle, modern swirl pattern, plush seating, a spacious desk with two chairs, in-room fax, high-speed Internet access and a 42-inch (107-centimetre) plasma television with DVD and stereo. The dining area seats six at a mahogany table; it is lit by a custom-designed chandelier.
• Separated by French doors, the bedroom has a king bed, down duvet, a petite dressing table, handcrafted lamps and draperies, and an LCD flat-screen television with DVD.
• The kitchenette is equipped with silverware, place settings, a refrigerator and a microwave.
• The master bathroom is styled with Italian marble vanities, Asian white marble floors and Murano-style glass lighting. The five-fixture configuration includes dual vanities, enclosed shower with multiple showerhead settings and a 6-foot (2-metre) soaking tub featuring a hand shower with jet, massage and mist options. A guest powder room is located in the foyer of the living room.
