My Four Seasons

Beirut's High Point

Considering Lebanon is located at the apex of the Mediterranean Basin and the Arabian hinterland, it's fitting that Four Seasons Hotel Beirut created The Roof, the perfect venue to take in Beirut’s incredible sea and cityscapes. Not only is it the highest rooftop pool deck and lounge in the city, it's also the most fun.

By day, hang out around the rooftop pool, just as many locals do. If you're visiting with family, friends, or on a romantic get away, The Roof is a perfect meeting place for a bite or drinks, including smoothies made from the freshest ingredients. Stefan Simkovics, the General Manager of The Four Seasons Hotel Beirut, explains that, “The lounge is anything but flashy. It’s a place to relax with good company, great food and breath-taking views."

Since its opening, the 26th floor rooftop lounge--with its unbeatable, panoramic, almost mythic views--has redefined the city’s legendary nightlife scene. Four Seasons Hotel Beirut designed its chic wrap-around rooftop pool and lounge so you can take in the mountains to Mediterranean Sea from 360-degree angles. As Simkovics says, "Enjoy the feeling of being on top of the world.” The sunset is intoxicating.

As night falls, find yourself under a canopy of stars lounging and sipping sundowners while choosing from a delightful tapas and Asian-inspired menu that range from crisp salads and siu mai dumplings to satays. There’s also an impressive selection of classics, vintage wines, signature cocktails, as well as fresh smoothies. Since the place is so popular, you'll want to reserve a table in advance. If you're a guest at the Hotel, you have VIP priority, but check with reception.  And, of course, there is the music. The Roof's resident DJ spins live music from 7:00 pm to 1:00 am Tuesday through Sunday.

As Beirut has once again become one of the world’s popular tourist destinations, The Roof may just be its defining crown jewel.
