Sample itinerary
Four Seasons can help customise itineraries for your group or party, making each day an unforgettable experience of Thailand's unique sights and culture. Below is a sample group itinerary. We invite you to discuss your needs with us.
Day 1
Arrival at Hotel
After your arrival at the Hotel, refresh and unwind:
- Pamper yourself with a body treatment at The Spa by MSpa.
- Work out in the Health Club.
- Relax by our outdoor swimming pool.
- Enjoy afternoon tea in the Hotel lobby, accompanied by live entertainment.
- Go for an invigorating jog in nearby Lumpini Park.
- Shop at the city's leading department stores, just a few minutes' walk from the Hotel.
Evening
- Welcome reception and private dinner.
- After dinner, shop at Suan Lum Night Bazaar for fabulous shopping, restaurants, live entertainment and a superb selection of beers.
Day 2
Morning
Enjoy an international buffet breakfast in one of our restaurants or function rooms before starting to explore these popular attractions in the City of Angels.
- Take a Chao Phraya River Cruise and see Bangkok from a different perspective on this relaxing ride. You will pass by the imposing Prangs of Wat Arun, the majestic Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha.
- Visit Damnoen Saduak Floating Market in Ratchaburi. At this popular destination, see the lifestyle of locals who live along the canals.
- Explore Ko Kret Island in the Chao Phraya River, where the traditions of Thailand's Mon people is preserved.
Afternoon
- Shop for local products on Silom, Mahasak and Charoenkrung Roads; notably, find gems and jewellery in the gem-trading centre on Mahasak Road.
- Shop at Central World Plaza, home to two popular department stores and hundreds of shops offering local and imported goods, including the country's largest duty-free shop.
- Browse a wide selection of imported brand name and local products in Gaysorn.
- Go antique hunting at Narayana Phand Pavilion, the largest centre for antiques and local artefacts in Thailand.
Evening
Enjoy a private barbecue buffet with themed decoration around the Hotel pool, accompanied by a Thai fruit carving and cooking demonstration; or dine in one of our restaurants.
Day 3
Morning
Enjoy an international buffet breakfast in one of our restaurants or function rooms. For your second full day in Bangkok, we suggest:
- A visit to the Grand Palace, where important religious and royal ceremonies are conducted.
- Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn), which features an impressive 85-metre (280-foot) pagoda decorated in multi-coloured Chinese porcelain.
- Wat Pho, Bangkok's oldest and largest wat (temple).
- Wat Phra Kaew (Temple of the Emerald Buddha), Thailand's grandest, most intricately designed temple, where exquisite Thai art and revered objects of worship are displayed.
- Vimanmek Mansion Museum, located in the compound of Dusit Palace on Ratchawithi Road. This three-storey royal mansion is the world’s largest golden teak building, it has 81 rooms, halls and antechambers containing fin de siècle royal memorabilia.
Afternoon
- National Museum, where the history of Thailand and how people lived during different periods is traced.
- Suan Pakkad Palace, to see an exquisite display of traditional Thai homes set in beautiful gardens, showing the Royal Family's appreciation of art and gardening.
Day 4
Morning
Enjoy an international buffet breakfast at leisure in one of our restaurants or function rooms. Join one of our Hotel activities or visit the many other sights of interests in the city.
- Participate in a Four Seasons Thai Cooking Class. This series of courses is the perfect opportunity to discover Thailand’s culinary secrets and is also an ideal exercise for team building.
- Practise Buddhist meditation, which offers a way for people to counter the stresses of modern living.
- Visit Siam Ocean World, a world-class aquarium in downtown Bangkok, for a glimpse of tropical aquatic life.
Afternoon
- Tour Jim Thompson Museum to see an exquisite collection of Thai silks displayed in a traditional house, paying tribute to the man who revived the local silk industry after World War II.
- Explore Chinatown, where vendors on shop-lined streets and alleys sell a myriad of interesting products.
- Visit Royal Barge Museum, a dry dock where barges used for special ceremonies such as the Royal Kathin Ceremony are displayed.
Evening
Enjoy a themed gala dinner.
