Deep Eddy Pool
The spring-fed swimming area is divided into two sections, a shallow end for wading and a deeper end for lap swimming. The lap area has only six lanes, so it often gets crowded, but the regulars there are friendly and will gladly let you into the rotation. The shallow end of the pool is larger and great for younger children who are intimidated by deep water or are still learning to swim. The water comes from natural springs and remains a tepid 72ºF (22ºC) year round. The entire pool is surrounded by grass, so spread out a towel and enjoy a picnic lunch.

But Esther's isn't content to merely show off its own company; it's also the setting for performances by some of Austin's top comics. Whether you live here or are just passing through, Esther's Follies is guaranteed to have you howling all the way home.
