Julie Jung has joined our team as the Global Guest Services Manager for the Around the World by Private Jet trips. In her new role, Julie works closely with guests to personalize their experience. She is the go-to girl for all requests and inquiries. Julie helps with everything from dinner reservations to exceptional travel recommendations. Here's a description of Julie's new role in her own words.
Please tell us a bit about your new position as Global Guest Services Manager, Four Seasons Private Jet Programs
Following the success of the 2012 debut Around the World trips, Four Seasons and TCS expanded upon their partnership. As part of the expansion, a full-time Four Seasons position was created to ensure a seamless travel experience throughout the entire trip. I was fortunate enough to be chosen for the position.
What does your role entail?
My new role consists of two main functions: ensuring all aspects of the program meet the Four Seasons standards and customizing each guest’s experience. I am involved with each trip from conception to completion and travel with guests to fulfill requests along the way.
How does your role work with guests planning their Four Seasons escapes?
I am available from the moment the guest books the trip until well after they return home. I reach out to guests around six months prior to departure to begin planning their itinerary. I encourage guests to take the time to contact me over the phone in order to personalize their travel experience. I also accompany the guests during travel; with wireless internet and an onboard concierge office, I can accommodate requests en route.
What are some key activities and special requests you can help guests coordinate?
I am here to accommodate all requests, from booking tee times and spa appointments, to sending postcards and picking out the perfect gift.
Do you have any insider tips or things you feel guests should know about destinations on these upcoming trips?
I have been working closely with the concierge team in each destination in order to get the inside scoop on the best products and must-see sites. Whether you’re looking for high-end designer stores in Tokyo for products exclusive to Japan or the best Tango class in Buenos Aires, I have insider tips from first-rate concierge teams around the world.
Anything else we should know about your new role and how it works on Four Seasons travel?
The advantage of being on-call for guests and accompanying them during travel is unsurpassed. I am available 24/7 leading up to, during, and after travel to accommodate any needs. Four Seasons has a standard of excellence that now goes beyond the hotel experience thanks to the TCS partnership. Our guests will be privy to the best recommendations and around-the-clock, individualized service.
