The Keys of Gold
In an intensely competitive marketplace, hotels are more pressed than ever to provide and deliver top quality services to their guests. And a good concierge, who has the ability to fulfill guests’ needs and make the impossible possible, is the differentiator between a good stay and an unforgettable one.
Four Seasons Hotel Amman Chief Concierge Bashar Badarneh recently received his Les Clefs d'Or "Keys of Gold," from the international professional organization of concierges. Their appearance should assure any Hotel guest that he is a seasoned professional who is dedicated to serving their every need with the utmost dedication and guaranteed, quality service. We are proud to acknowledge that he is the only member of this prestigious concierge group in all of Jordan. This is because he’s a true specialist who not only has his finger on the pulse of Amman, but deeply understands the needs of our guests.
Bashar, a native of Jordan, was part of the Hotel’s pre-opening team back in 2002. He started off as an Airport greeter for six months and then moved on to concierge as an agent. He worked his way up the ranks and, in 2009, was named Chief Concierge. He’s known to staff members and guests alike for being able to accommodate every guests wants and needs, from recommendations and reservations to the more extraordinary. For example, a recent hotel guest wanted to follow, step-by-step, Lawrence of Arabia’s travels through Amman and its environs. So Bashar took it upon himself to custom tailor an itinerary called the “Lawrence of Arabia Package”. Needless to say, the guest was thrilled with his one-of-a-kind excursion, and the exclusive sights and sounds it offered. Just another example of Bashar's committment to meeting – and exceeding – the highest levels of guest service.
